We first came to know Réka Szabó in the second half of the nineties as a dancer then as a choreographer, and although it has become increasingly difficult to define the genre of her creations, it is extremely exciting to follow her on her carefully thought out, adventurous path. Thanks to her sparkling humour, curiosity and sensitivity, more and more people are following her productions and experiments. Over the years the director has attracted a group of talented fellow creative artists from a wide range of backgrounds who are coalescing into an excellent, versatile company. She never treats her players merely as performers but as fellow creative artists. The two basic themes of Séance – Arhythmic Hearts Club are the musicality of movement and the experience of community.
